Australian Police Clearance Certificates
You should contact the police authorities in Australia directly to arrange issue of an Australian police certificate.
The Australian Federal Police in Canberra can issue a National Police Clearance Certificate which covers criminal records in all states and territories, except Queensland. The AFP has advised that this certificate should be acceptable in all countries, however, it is the individual's responsibility to confirm that this certificate will be accepted by the requesting authority.
Certificates can be issued either on the basis of name checks or on the basis of fingerprint checks and you should discuss which type of certificate you require with the requesting authority.
